Act quickly as soon as a spill happens! Except for mud, any other spill and stain are better treated as soon as it occurs. Blot out any excess liquid with a clean cloth or paper towel, or scrape it off with a spoon or spatula. Then proceed with washing the stain – again by blotting with the suitable cleaning solution. Rinse by blotting. Dry by placing paper towels and a heavy object on top. Never rub a spill or stain, because you will cause to become embedded deep into the carpet or can spread it further around the spill!

Wine stains

Remove wine and beer stains by blotting with club soda or with a mixture of warm water and white vinegar. Rinse off by dabbing with a clean wet cloth.
